A short list, kept sharp. Every service finished with hot towel, tonic, and a brush-down — the way it ought to be.
Scissor-over-comb, taper, and clean lines. Forty unhurried minutes in the chair, ending with a hot-towel finish.
Pre-shave oil, two passes with the straight razor, alum-bar finish and balm. Old-fashioned in the best sense.
Outline, balance, and length-work shaped to the face — not the trend. Trimmed, oiled, and combed home.
A full-scalp shave, taken slow with hot towels and balm. Polished, never raw.
Line-work and detail by request — restrained, drawn with the clipper-tip, never overdone.
Cleanse, steam, mask, and finish. Twenty minutes that leaves the skin behaving for a week.
Rates are kept current at the chair — please call (587) 354 · 2020 for the day's pricing or to reserve.
“A good barbershop,” the saying goes, “keeps better time than a watch.”
Mission has lived on 21st Avenue long enough to know its regulars by the angle of their part — and patient enough to teach a first-timer how a hot-towel shave is meant to feel.
Our chairs are taken by barbers trained in the European tradition: precise, unhurried, multilingual — Ukrainian, Polish, Russian, English — each one schooled in scissor-work before the clipper ever touches the neck.
We sharpen our own razors. We hone our own conversation. And we keep coffee on, in case yours runs cold.
Four stations, four hands, one standard. Names and portraits to follow as the wall fills.
